on the Belux
market.
With a group size that is more than double the size of any Belgian IT group,
Gfi is ideally positioned to build on mature and industrialized offerings and
bring expertise to the Belux
marketplace.
Gfi Benelux was founded in 1993 as a
subsidiary of the Paris based Gfi Informatique group with a mission to provide
IT services to the local (Belux)
market. In 2006, the turnover of Gfi Informatique was around 7 MIO
EUR.
In 2006, Gfi Benelux acquired 2 companies
: Adelior
Benelux NV (founded as Nat Systems, later Cognicase Benelux) - a
specialist in application development and integration - and
Leuven based EMD NV, a specialist in collaboration and workflow. An acquisition
of the Computacenter Application Development division
followed in 2009. Through synergies and organic development Gfi
Benelux realized
17 MIO Euro
that year.
Early 2011, as Gfi Informatique acquired
ARES group, Gfi’s
presence in Luxemburg doubled with the acquisition of ARES Luxembourg. A new successful
integration
and leverage of the group assets & international capabilities lead to
accelerated growth. Today Gfi employs 300 persons and its turnover exceeds 25 MIO
in the Belux.
On the Belux market, GFI is active with
more than 250 consultants and has offices in Brussels, Louvain, Ghent, Leudelange
(Lux) and Cappellen
(Lux).
Our team
is further reinforced with a proximity service center located in Lille
(Fr) which
has over 500 consultants.
