Mission description

Are you an experienced Technical Consultant with a passion for cybersecurity? Do you want to work on challenging projects and contribute to protecting organizations from cyber threats? Then, this job vacancy is for you!

 

As a Technical Consultant Security, your responsibilities include advising organizations on cybersecurity matters and taking the lead during the implementation of necessary security measures. You will assist organizations in identifying security challenges and evaluating security risks. Additionally, you will develop security policies and provide solutions to enhance the security of systems and networks. As a Security Consultant, you will often be involved in conducting risk assessments, designing security architectures, implementing security measures, and advising clients on best practices.

 

Your tasks include:

  • Assessing and auditing the current security infrastructure.
  • Advising management and IT personnel on security risks and potential solutions.
  • Advising and supporting the development, implementation, and management of security measures.
  • Assisting the (pre)sales teams in preparing proposals.
  • Providing guidance on technical choices for cybersecurity measures: architecture, sizing, modeling, PoC (Proof of Concept), PoV (Proof of Value), integration, operation, system hardening, maintenance, upgrading, and evolution.
  • Contributing to the development of best practices and policies in information security.
  • Developing and enhancing our offerings by understanding and interpreting the cybersecurity needs of our clients.

Profile description

To qualify for this position, you should have:

 

  • Experience in conducting security audits, recommending appropriate security solutions, and implementing necessary security measures.
  • Number of years of experience as Technical Consultant and knowledge within one or more specific security domains (network, infrastructure, cloud, application, data, identity, ...).
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset, capable of exploring options and drawing conclusions.
  • Autonomous, dynamic, results-oriented, meticulous, and dedicated.
  • Strong organizational and decision-making skills.
  • Continuously updating your knowledge.
  • Excellent command of the Dutch and English languages. Knowledge of French is a plus.
  • Possession of security certifications is a significant plus.
